It comprises of 54 sovereign countries in its entire length and stretch. Nigeria is the most populous state in Africa while Algeria is the largest. It is renowned for its thick forests drained and well fed by rivers originating in its mountains. It also is the seat of world’s second largest desert, the Kalahari Desert.
