Botswana, a landlocked country in Southern Africa, is flanked by the Kalahari Desert on one side and the Okavango Delta on another. This side of the country is prone to seasonal floods during the monsoons which makes it a dense animal habitat during this time of the year. The country has wide bio diversity and the same is evident in the massive Central Kalahari Game Reserve, with its naturally fossilized river valleys and undulating grasslands, is home to numerous wild animals in their natural habitat such as giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas and wild dogs.
