The Mariamma Temple in Fiji is an Asian temple known for the fire-walking festival which is held every year in the months of July-August.  This ritual is practiced in the tiny island of Beqa. One can also visit the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple located at Nadi. It is a very auspicious seat of devotion and the deity is said to be very powerful. One must also visit the Naiserelagi Catholic Mission which is a very beautiful church dating back to 1917.
