About

The Seychelles, an erstwhile British colony, is an island nation consisting of an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of East Africa. It is home to numerous beaches, coral reefs and forest reserves which contain some rare wildlife specimens such as the giant Aldabra tortoises. Mahé, a stopover port connecting the other islands, is also home to the capital city of Victoria. It also has the mountain rainforests of Morne Seychellois, National Parks and stunning beaches, including Beau Vallon and Anse Takamaka.
